Biography
Tina's creative career started at the West Sussex college of Design, where she completed a BTEC in Graphic Design followed by a BA Hons Degree in Graphics/Illustration at Camberwell Collage of Arts in London, where her love of Watercolour painting and Printmaking grew.
Tina then worked as a freelance illustrator and her work has been published in magazines and books, used on packaging and promotional advertising. Created workshops for BTEC students graphic/illustration techniques at the Medway UCA campus.
After taking a career break for her young family, she trained as a teacher of Art and Design at Christchurch University in Canterbury and worked as an Art and Design teacher for 18 years in different schools in Kent and Medway. During her teaching career, she always continued to paint and create her own work and take part in exhibitions such as Pushing Print in Margate and Open studio events with the Hazelnut Press.
