My creative career started at the West Sussex college of Design, completing a BTEC in Graphic Design. This was followed by a BA Hons Degree in Graphics/Illustration at Camberwell Collage of Arts in London, where my love of watercolour painting and printmaking began.
Working as a freelance illustrator, my work was published in magazines, books, used on packaging and promotional advertising. During this time I also lectured BTEC students teaching graphic/illustration techniques at the Medway UCA campus.
After taking a career break for my young family, I re-trained as a teacher of Art and Design at Christchurch University in Canterbury and taught for 18 years in different schools in Kent and Medway. I always continued to create my own work and take part in exhibitions such as Pushing Print in Margate and Open studio events with the Hazelnut Press. More recently I have focused on my own work and took part in the SEOS 2022.
I have exhibited with Canterbury Society of Art for the last 3 years
